BAIINFO-China, Domestic GPC prices increased then declined in Apr. In early Apr., partial prices of imported shot coke and high-sulfur GPC climbed on the back of decreasing supply, active downstream replenishment and expectations for dropping imported GPC resources. Till late Apr., some GPC prices consolidated down due to piled-up inventories caused by less active buying interest. Compared to the end of Mar., Sinopec refineries’ GPC prices fluctuated by RMB 30-260/T.
